Stonehenge

I have always wanted to see Stonehenge. It's about a 40 minute drive from Bristol. It, too, is in the middle of nowhere. We drove there right after Lacock Abbey.

You cross under the road through a tunnel and can walk all the way around the stones. The stones are huge!

This was the surrounding country side.

We asked this guy to take our picture and figured he would know what he was doing because he had a camera similar to ours. When I handed my camera to him, I had it on the settings I wanted. He immediately started playing with the settings and was so confused when all of the pictures he took came out over-exposed. I was really annoyed.

The freeway is literally about 50 feet away.

It was a very cool thing to see. I really enjoyed it. They had an audio tour, but as we went to get ours, the person was gone, so we just grabbed what was on the table. We figured we had a good shot of getting English. We got French.
